QuizRevolution is an interesting web-based quiz making software that lets you create multimedia quizzes and also tracks student submissions. Register for a free account at MyStudiyo, give your quiz a name and then start adding questions. You can add as many questions as you like and may even supplement quiz questions with HTML text, hyperlinks, images or even YouTube videos. Once you create your quiz you can embed it on your classroom website.
It's that simple.
( If you put in a What is your name?" question, students will not need to register to take your quiz.)
Here are a couple of reasons why I think this is a great tool for our classrooms.
  • These are great looking quizzes and QuizRevolution offers many pre-made templates.
  • There is a "wizard" like feel that walks you step-by-step through the process of making a quiz.
  • You can create a custom ending for different score ranges. A great way to set up an online review session.
  • There is a "reports and statistics:" area on the "my Quizzes" section of the site. Don't forget to put a "What is your name?" question if you will be using this to collect grades.
If you choose to use this great tool, I would love to see your quiz. Please share in the comments below.
